Curiosity and presence in culture, space and silence
Curiosity and presence in culture, space and silence
I am a photographer drawn to the traces of humanity that shape our cultural and spiritual existence.
My work explores intimate black-and-white street photography, introspective landscapes with a human element, and the quiet gestures of faith and belief. I am fascinated by our deep attachment to the land and the sea — where we come from — and by our connection to the universe.
The thread running through my work is stillness: the intimate moments we experience within ourselves, with one another, and with the environments that hold us.
I am a trained scientist working with the creation of light. In my photography, the camera becomes more than a detector — and the photons I capture become stories of being human in this universe.
As I travel, I become a curious observer. Through the presence and silence of the lens, I shape the poetic counterpart to my structured life — a way of exploring what moves us, quietly and deeply, in the world around us.
